What’s i-Days All About?
i-Days aim to inspire health innovation among university students across Europe through multi-day programs. Students from various fields learn practical tools and work in teams to solve real-world health challenges set by EIT Health and various organizations. The winning team of each i-Day will attend the Winners’ Event, a final competition that unites students from around Europe. The event in Lithuania is organized annually since 2019.

Innovating with Empathy: Designing Disruptive Solutions for Patient-Centered Care

Is it for me, if I am student, but not from health-tech field?
All students are welcome! Whether you’re in medicine, engineering, business or design (or you name it!) your unique skills and knowledge are needed to solve real healthcare challenges.

What to expect during the event?
– TEAM UP! You will collaborate with students from the different disciplines.
– UNDERSTAND PATIENTS! Focus on the needs and expectations of focus groups like elderly, pediatric patients, and those with neurodegenerative disorders
– FIND PROBLEMS! Whaaat? I mean – IDENTIFY PROBLEMS of PATIENTS. Pinpoint main issues affecting the well-being of patients.
– CREATE SOLUTIONS and MAKE IT HAPPEN!. Design innovative, early-stage prototypes with guidance from expert mentors.

The workshop will be led by
– Edvinas Grauželis: CCO of UAB Nanologistics, VDU Minded Partnership Associate Professor, mentorship project manager, team and group coaching specialist, and ICF board member.
– Mindaugas Šerpytis: Lecturer at VDU Faculty of Economics and Management and Minded, business partnerships developer, and marketing specialist.
